Berlin Wall Stein
Stoneware, raised-relief, three-panel decoration of Berlin. This is the third edition in Thewalt's series of Berlin steins. The Brandenburg Gate is the main subject. On the left side of the stein is a very detailed view of “Checkpoint Charlie”, the former border control checkpoint between East & West. On the other side of the stein is the Kaiser Wilhelm Gedaechtniskirche (Emperor William's Memorial Church). The bombed-out tower of the church, located in the heart of the city, is now a war memorial in memory of the horrors of the war. The stein is carefully detailed with a variety of subject colors. Cobalt blue serves as the background. The ornamental pewter lid has an authentic piece of the Berlin Wall. Please note that the size of the stone varies from stein to stein. Limited edition of 5,000 pieces. Each piece is registered and individually numbered.
