Stoneware, handpainted raised relief decoration, decal decoration, gold leaf accents. The body of this original stein is designed and decorated to represent a Russian church. The cobalt blue background and extensive gold leaf highlights enrich this exquisite stein. Intricate decal replicas of Russian fairytale artwork involving kings on horseback decorate three sides of the stein. A entirely gold leaf covered, stoneware dome with minaret forms the lid and a pewter lion serves as the thumblift.
