Stoneware, hand painted, raised-relief decoration, miniature stein. This is the 1st edition in the series of 18 steins. The main motif is the German Eagle introduced in 1949. On the left side is Bellvue Castle and on the right is the Reichstag (German Capitol) Building. The identifying component of this series is a raised-relief pewter base with 16 German State shields wrapped around it. This stein is complete with a conical pewter lid and an official “Made in Germany” seal attached by cord to the handle.
Limited edition of 2,000 individually numbered and registered pieces.
