Griffin Stein
The top and bottom of this stein's black glazed body are each decorated with two handpainted gold-leaf bands. But the focal point of this stein is the raised-relief pewter band in the center. Three separately cast deep relief pewter griffin heads, with rings in their mouths, are attached to the pewter band. A wrap-around pewter border decoration of eagles, serpents and lions completes teh body design. On top of the ornate pewter lid is a pewter winged lion figurine, made by Gallo, USA.
This stein is produced in a worldwide edition limint of 5,000 pieces. Each piece is registered and individually numbered.
